George Price is the former head of the Technology Section of UNFPA’s Management Information Services Branch where he was responsible for the design and implementation of the organization’s global technology infrastructure. Having worked with UNFPA in various capacities for 37 years, he is intimately familiar with the organization and its evolution through the decades.

Now retired, he continues to practice his craft through consultancies, most recently designing an Alumni Portal for former UNFPA staff and drafting related documentation. Considering technology is an ever changing field, he regularly reads numerous IT journals and tests various software, devices, and operating systems.

George has an undergraduate degree in Engineering from De La Salle University, an MBA from Fordham University, and certificates from: Cranfield University (Continuing Leadership Development); American Management Association (Management Communication and Managing Chaos); and Deloitte Touche (Anti-Fraud and Risk Sensitization).
